No-Fuss Group Getaways in Hendricks County

Danville

With so much to see and do in Hendricks County, you can enjoy several different group tours here. And the best part? We do all the planning and take care of every detail of your itinerary. The attractions we work with love welcoming visitors to their little corner of our county, and that personal touch is the reason we have so many repeat visitors. Our group-friendly and affordable hotels are conveniently located off of I-70 and I-74, and our locally owned restaurants offer a variety of menus and styles to meet any group’s tastes. Many of our restaurants are also part of Indiana Foodways Alliance, a nonprofit group dedicated to the celebration, promotion and preservation of Indiana’s authentic food culture.

Arts and Culture

Step out on the Downtown Danville Historic Courthouse Square with a number of options all within walking distance. Enjoy workshops at Gallery on the Square, tour an 1886 sheriff’s residence and former county jail at the Hendricks County Historical Museum, and enjoy lunch at the Mayberry Café followed by a delicious dessert buffet provided by the Bread Basket Cafe and Bakery. Wrap up your tour with a private showing of a classic movie at the Historic Royal Theatre and a bottomless bag of freshly popped corn!

Green Spree

Enjoy a custom workshop by landscape and greenhouse experts and then browse a gift shop at Frazee Gardens, take a guided tour of Beasley’s Orchard, peek behind the scene and shop the farmer’s market in the Civil War-era barn, enjoy lunch at one of our many locally owned restaurants like Dawson’s Too—Sticks & Stones, take in the beauty of Avon Gardens’ five acres of gardens and water features, then finish your day by touring a working landfill at the Twin Bridges Landfill and Gas Plant.

Ho Ho Holiday Tour

Depart from your Hendricks County lodging facility and head toward Martinsville Candy Kitchen, where you’ll see their famous candy cane-making process. Enjoy a gourd-painting presentation and shopping at Homestead Primitives and Berries & Ivy Country Store, savor authentic Cajun cuisine at the famous Zydeco’s Restaurant featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, then finish off your evening with a wind chime workshop at Monrovia Mudworks. The next morning, start your day with one-of-a-kind gifts at the Plainfield Tri Kappa Gingerbread Christmas Show and Frazee Gardens. Take in lunch at The Coachman Restaurant and Lounge. Next stop is a visit to Beasley’s Orchard farm market housed in a civil-war era barn, then on to a craft beer tasting at Cutters Brewing Company.
