Get Involved with Visit Indiana Week

The Indiana Office of Tourism Development is planning a unique celebration for Visit Indiana Week to coincide with National Travel and Tourism Week, May 6-12, 2018. Each day of the week will feature a different promotion to get Hoosiers and visitors out on our roadways and into your communities.

  • State Parks Sunday

May 6 - Our partners at the Indiana Department of Natural Resources will offer FREE admission to ALL state parks.

  • Museum Monday

May 7 - We are asking museums to offer a discount on admission – perhaps buy one get one free, a percentage discount, a dollar amount discount, or even free admission!  Your choice.

  • Tastings Tuesday

May 8 - We are seeking Indiana wineries, breweries and distilleries who will offer discounted tastings on wine, beer, spirits and ciders. Maybe it’s a daily special or flight special. The choice is up to you!

  • Wild Wednesday

May 9 - We are asking zoos, preserves, animal sanctuaries and the like to offer their animal experiences at a special discount or package rate during Visit Indiana Week.

  • Throwback Thursday

May 10 - We want to showcase Indiana’s historic sites with free or discounted admission. Consider a percentage discount or a dollar amount discount.  You choose.

  • Foodie Friday

May 11 - We are looking to pack your local restaurants and eateries with patrons using special discount offers on appetizers, entrees and/or desserts.

  • Sports Saturday

May 12 - There are plenty of sports-related activities happening across Indiana on this day. The IndyCar Grand Prix, Indianapolis Indians, and the South Bend Cubs are all in action, golf courses are open, and it’s always mountain biking season! We’re seeking discounts and special offers on these activities and others.
