Office of Community and Rural Affairs Announces Opening of Community Development Block Grant Round 3
INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs (OCRA) announces a third round for 2017 of Community Development Block Grants (CDBG) is now open and accepting proposals from communities wishing to apply.
The following programs are accepting applications in this round:
- Blight Clearance Program (BCP)
- Main Street Revitalization Program (MSRP)
- Public Facilities Program (PFP)
- Stormwater Improvements Program (SIP)
- Wastewater/Drinking Water Program (WDW)
Funding for all of the programs comes from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Community Development Block Grant program and is administered for Indiana by OCRA.
CDBG Round 3 Proposals are being accepted until Friday, December 1, 2017 at 4 pm EST. Final applications are due by Friday, February 9, 2018 at 4 pm EST with funding awards announced on Thursday, April 5, 2018.
OCRA recently announced nearly $16 million in 2017 CDBG Round 2 federal grant funding was awarded to 29 rural Hoosier communities across five (5) programs.
